Building a multi-modal solution
Each of the three products - car sharing, ride hailing and car rental - has its own, unique set of characteristics so the challenge was to streamline the overall experience of the app while maintaining ease-of-use for each individual product.

The Solution
//
We experimented with and tested conversational approaches as well as classic booking mask entries but in the end, the solution was a combination of the map and clear product tabs, combining to form one hub - an unprecedented approach, especially for car rental.
Sixt
Testing
//
After settling on the solution, we regularly tested concepts and designs with organised user testing sessions while also leveraging the internal CRO team to continously tweak and improve the user experience.

Iconset
//
Part of the new Sixt brand and visual direction was new iconography. I created a complete iconset which is used throughout the app and the website and to some extent in the cars themselves. The style of the set is in line with the overall direction of the brand - edgy, dynamic and clear.
